BA2 understand the purpose and content of a product brief

STARTER:

Appreciate where TB2 lays in the scheme of the course: Teaching Blocks > Skills Building > Controlled Assessment

Create a short document detailing the definitions of a BRIEF and a PROPOSAL and how they work together

TASK:

1. Audience & Purpose
2. Outline of how it will work
3. Outline of user interface
4. Testing

In your groups, mindmap your section of a Proposal, think about the following points:

• How this will inform design decisions 
• What activities need to be carried out 
• What resources will be needed
• How long they think it will take 
• Identify what else they need to know
• How will they gather the information

TASK 2:

Digital Product: iPad app for the hard of hearing

In your new groups, consider the detail and reason of what kind of information is required, where that information would be acquired from and how it would be acquired. To do this, open up TB2 L1R2 A- D from O:\ICT\GCSE ICT Unit 3\TB2 and complete your section for your new group.

When complete, you will need to print your document once for everyone in your group - everyone should end up with all four sections.

Clip together and place in folders.
